Energy Transition brings together research in power systems, energy conversion, and digital technologies to address the decarbonisation and transformation of the energy sector. Our work covers renewable energy integration, electric vehicles, energy storage, smart grids, and the digitalisation of energy networks.
We work closely with utilities, manufacturers, and service providers, combining technical research with applications in network planning, demand flexibility, and distributed energy management, in close collaboration with industry and public entities in Portugal and internationally.
