Information and Decision Support Systems (IDSS) designs processes, techniques and technology for the analysis, design, development and integration of complex information systems across three areas: information systems engineering, data science and engineering, and algorithms engineering.
In information systems engineering, we work on enterprise architecture, business process management, requirements engineering, model-driven engineering and knowledge engineering. In data science and engineering, we cover machine learning, algorithms and complexity, data profiling, cleaning and integration, data analyticics, information retrieval and spatial data science. In algorithms engineering, we focus on data structures, succinct data structures, combinatorial optimisation and computational science.
