“It’s the Memory, stupid” Training Course
The course, organized by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center Memory Systems Team (Petar Radojković), in collaboration with Intel Corporation and INESC-ID, is an excellent opportunity for in-depth training on memory system profiling and performance analysis.
The topics include:
- Roofline models
- TopDown analysis
- Heterogeneous memory systems
Aleksandar Ilic (INESC-ID) will participate in the discussion on different state-of-the-art roofline modelling principles. Special attention will be given to the Cache-Aware Roofline Model (CARM) and its corresponding CARM tool, both of which are staple tools for architecture characterization and workload profiling within the scope of the DARE GPP-specific Software Tools Pathfinding.
