Distributed, Parallel and Secure Systems (DPSS) focuses on building high-performance, secure and sustainable computing systems, spanning hardware architecture, distributed platforms and the software that powers large-scale applications.
We work on efficient, scalable, secure distributed platforms for AI/ML, cloud and edge computing, big data processing, blockchain and Internet-scale peer-to-peer systems; the underlying infrastructure of computer architecture, operating systems, virtualisation and programmable networks; and execution and coordination techniques for parallel computation, transaction processing and autonomic computing, with a focus on security, performance, scalability and energy efficiency.
