Graphics and Interaction (GI) combines computer science, computer graphics, HCI, and behavioural and social sciences to address challenges in health, social inclusion, education, architecture, design and manufacturing.
Our work spans interactive visual computing, including high-performance rendering and information visualisation (SciVis and InfoVis), together with human-computer interaction across traditional modalities (sound, speech, vision) and novel ones such as BCI and full-body posture. Research topics include deep graphics, medical interfaces, education through gamification, and algorithmic design and optimisation for architecture, engineering and construction.
