Sustainable Power Systems addresses the transformation of power systems towards more sustainable and flexible energy infrastructures, focusing on new solutions for the integration and control of demand, distributed energy resources and small-scale renewable generation.
This response is emerging mainly at lower voltage levels, where operational and planning complexity is increasing as grid dimensionality grows and uncertainty rises. Our research addresses this complexity, developing control, operational and planning concepts and approaches for the power system transformation.
